Story: Dodge Woman Says Love Them ALL

Peggy and her husband in 2019

EASTMAN, GEORGIA: Peggy Peacock, age 55, is a familiar face around Dodge County. Active in her church, Peggy and her husband are big supporters of the activities their children and grandchildren get involved.

Peggy spends a lot of time caring for others, and not just in her job as a patient care assistant with Asmart Senior Care.

Her job is something that Peggy says is “a blessing from God. He knew I have a servant heart, and he placed me in my current position.”

“Being a good neighbor is making sure you treat people the way you want to be treated,” she said.

Peggy continued, “You treat them with love … I am always taking care of somebody from my husband to my clients.”

She added, “I make sure people have what they need in the best ways that I can. You treat people with the upmost respect by all means.”

Peggy credits Virginia Pruett with influencing her the most in life. “She always picked me up for church, and led me to Jesus.”

“My advice for people on how they can survive life … Have faith in God … because if you walk in the grace of God, you will have faith to overcome any obstacles,” Peggy stated.

She said, “My favorite Bible verse is a toss up between Psalm 37:4 and Philippians 4 :6-7.”
